“When we had our second flood in the upstairs laundry room, we knew it was time to change the floor plan and get that washer in the basement!
What we had was a laundry room next to the master bedroom, two closets across from each other in the master bedroom with a short hallway leading to the small en suite bathroom. We knew that if we just moved the laundry room downstairs, we’d be left with a wasted space where it once was.
We asked Chris to come by and see what could be done (if anything) with our problem. I was immediately impressed when Chris had a vision for the area which hadn’t crossed my mind. He removed the closets and doubled the size of our en suite (thereby adding a jet soaker tub which my wife can’t get enough of!) The old laundry room was then turned into a huge walk in closet with the old door into the hallway removed and one added from the bedroom.
The quality of the work done by Chris is the best I’ve seen in my years as a home owner. Anyone looking at our home would never know that it had been changed. Not only is his work fantastic, but the design is much better than the original builder’s and was done at a very reasonable price!
Being a skeptical person by nature, I have to mention how comfortable I was with Chris being in our house. It was a huge relief, since I normally feel like I have to follow workers around like a lost puppy when they’re in my house! I know he is an honest man and I felt like I could have left for vacation while he was working! This is not something that comes easy for me.
I’ve never written a testimonial before, but I felt like people should know about Chris as a fine craftsman and all around good guy. Chris will be our first and only call for future renovations…you just can’t go wrong with him.
